CORY & ASHLEY’S WEDDING | TAMPA PHOTOGRAPHER | CYPRESS CREEK EVENT VENUE
Cory and Ashley met as many married couples do, they met in school. The only difference is they met in 3rd grade. After going their separate ways, Facebook brought them together 15 years later when Ashley saw a familiar face in the “suggested friends” area. Cory wisely accepted the friend request. In time they realized they had many shared interests, goals, and were soulmates. Cory proposed to her in August 2019, and they began planning their wedding.
As everyone knows now, flexibility and adaptation have been the theme this past year. Cory and Ashley had a beautiful wedding planned for April 25, 2020. Needless to say, that date was postponed almost a full year to March 20, 2021. Though that ended up working out in their favor. They ended up changing their original venue to Cypress Creek Event Venue. Just north of Tampa, Cypress Creek Event Venue is a stunning location that is located right off the meandering Cypress Creek with several small bodies of water, and a rustic timber bridge on site. They have a rustic-chic barn with vaulted ceilings with a pergola-covered dancefloor. When I say it worked out in their favor, I mean it.
The day of the wedding was the ones you dream of, the weather was gorgeous and there was just enough clouds in the sky to ensure they had the very best light for their afternoon wedding.
Surrounded by family and their closest friends, the service was beautiful but that wasn’t what made it so special. What made it special for me was watching the absolute love that Cory and Ashley have for each other. It didn’t take long for me to be welcomed into their extended family. That is the testament to both of their characters – making others feel welcome and accepted in their circle.
