Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Goettlich

I met Jacob and Christin last winter when I photographed their engagement session at Ever After Blueberry Farms. There are happy smiles and then there are the smiles that Jacob and Christin were wearing. These two were happily in love and they didn’t care who knew about it. Fast forward 13 months and the only thing that has changed is the outfits they were wearing, because their smiles were still as big as ever.

As we made our way through the farm, photographing their engagement photos, Christin was telling me her vision for what she wanted in a wedding. She wanted a Beauty and the Beast wedding. I couldn’t help but get giddy, thinking of this special day. The big day finally came and as I start capturing the detail photos, the first thing that I am hit with is, she got her “dream wedding”.

The day was as beautiful as you can imagine, with the dreamy weather of Florida in February. Ever After Blueberry Farms was the perfect host for the evening as well.

I caught on quickly that Jacob and Christin are loved by so many and their friends are truly a part of their family. There were so many people who were so genuinely joyful for them and it just set the tone for the day. Christin was calm yet excited and when the doors opened to the ceremony you can see the joy from her eyes. It truly was the perfect day.

As I began the day, I was there to document their big day, but it didn’t take long for me to be welcomed into their extended family. That is the testament to both of their characters – making others feel welcome and accepted in their circle. I know this will be a evidence to their marriage as well as they accept and welcome each other through different seasons of life. I am so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Goettlich and I was so honored to be alongside them as they committed their lives to one another.
